The Aarf House is a real house! Our goal is to make your dog(s) feel as much like being at home as possible, so they feel happy, comfortable, and safe when they’re with us.
They can choose to play in the backyard, relax on a dog bed or couch inside, get loves and cuddles from the team, or go on a hike, all with other very nice canine companions who’ve passed our strict trial processes. This ensures a very relaxed, happy, and fun environment for them and us!
One or two of our loving and professional team members are always with the dogs at the Aarf House, engaging them in play, monitoring for individual needs, encouraging and supporting friendly and appropriate interactions, doing enrichment activities, and always giving lots of love!
We know dogs don’t stop needing loving care and attention at night. So we stay!! What a difference that is from traditional boarding facilities. It makes your dog’s stay with us so much more enjoyable for them and gives you so much peace of mind.
The best part? We don't ever crate the dogs or leave them alone. We have a very nice, dog-friendly bedroom and one of us sleeps there with them every night!
What You Need to Know
Location - Aarf House
The Aarf House is centrally located in Murray. Clients don't necessarily need to live in our service area as they do for our other services, because they drop off and pick up their own dogs for boarding and day care.
Our cozy "doggy B&B" amenities include:
- 1,200 square feet of "dog heaven"
- Large, fully-fenced yard with play areas
- Indoor/outdoor access via doggy door
- Cozy couches and clean, comfortable dog beds
- No kennels or crates - just freedom to play and rest
- Meticulous cleaning and safety protocols
- Summer doggy pools

Rates
Boarding
Standard Rate: $65 per day/overnight
Check-out Times:
- By 9 AM: No charge
- By 1 PM: $45
- By 6 PM: $55
- After 6 PM: additional $5 for every 10 minutes late
- Past 7 PM: Additional overnight stay may be required
Day Care
(7:30 AM - 6 PM)
- Full Day (4-8 hours): $40
- Half Day (up to 4 hours): $30
Spaw Services
- Basic Bath (Summer only): $35
- Bath & Blow Dry: $50
- Ear Cleaning: $15
- Nail Trim: $15
Daily Activities
- Indoor/outdoor access throughout the day
- Supervised playtime with friendly dog companions
- Optional off-leash group hikes:
- One-hour hike: $35/dog
- Two-hour hike: $50/dog
- Surge pricing for boarding dogs due to high demand $10 extra on Fridays and Saturdays
- Positive behavior reinforcement
- Customized care for every dog's needs
- Daily Report Card sent to you via text/email detailing your dog's day

Aarf House Day Care
Our day care guests have all the same fun and freedoms as our boarding guests! They just don’t stay for the pajama parties.
The Extra Mile
To help you relax and enjoy your vacation or focus on whatever else may take you away from home, we go the extra mile. Whether it’s an extra walk one day, reserving a favorite couch spot or daily Report Cards detailing your dog’s fun while you’re away, we always look for opportunities to go above and beyond.
Booking Information
- Please create an account and schedule a free 3-hour trial visit (daycare) or a 3-hour trial and the full-day trial (boarding). (Note: If you have booked other services (hikes, walks, etc.) you must create a separate account to book your dog's stay at the Aarf House.)
- To ensure trust and expectations, we require 48-hour notice. In rare circumstances, last-minute services are extended with a $25 fee.
- A 50% deposit of the total charge for boarding is required at the time of booking your dog(s)’ reservation. If it’s your dog(s)’s first stay, and they do not pass their trials, the deposit is fully refunded at the time.
- Holiday surcharge: $10/day (Applies to a few days before/after all national holidays)
- We recommend early booking for holidays
- You receive loyalty points earned with every stay! Points will accrue each time your dog stays with us, and we redeem them automatically for your credit on subsequent invoices. (Details found in Gingr account)
- Weekend nights and Holiday surcharges $10/day (Applies to all Friday and Saturday nights, and a few days before, the day of, and a few days after all major holidays)
Cancellation Policy
- 2+ weeks notice: Full refund minus $10 service fee
- Less than 2 weeks: Deposit forfeited
We will consider the circumstances and may refund some deposits in part or in full if conditions warrant.
